Aircargo Communities Inc.
Doing business as Air Cargo Inc. / ACI
Effective date: September 8, 2026
Aircargo Communities Inc. ("ACI," "we," "us") runs aircargocommunities.com. We publish the Air Freight Directory, sell subscriptions to the online guide, the freight router, the load board, the fuel-surcharge matrix, the quoting tools, the data API, and the TSA Compliance Gateway. We also sell print-directory advertising. We are a trade publisher and a membership network for air-freight people. We are not a social network, and we are not a data broker.
We keep what we need to run an account, print a listing, take a subscription payment, operate the tools a member paid for, and keep a compliance file the member asked us to keep. We do not keep a side list for sale.
We do not sell personal information. We do not rent the subscriber file. We do not give it to a data broker. We do not use Compliance Gateway records, load-board posts, or API credentials to advertise. We do not feed member files into an outside machine-learning model.
A directory listing is a different thing. If a company pays to be listed, or asks to be listed, the business name, phones, addresses, airports served, and the contact names it supplies are published on purpose. That publication is the product. It is not a silent transfer to a stranger.

Privacy requests: put "Privacy Request" on the first line of the form at https://www.aircargocommunities.com/contact-us/, call 650-952-9050, or mail Privacy Request to the box above.
The public pages use Plausible Analytics (plausible.io) to count traffic. Plausible does not set a cookie on your machine. It does not store your raw IP address. It derives a coarse location (country, region, city) from the IP, hashes a daily value so unique visitors can be counted for that day only, and then discards the salt. What we see is aggregate: which pages were opened, which site sent the visitor, browser and device type, and a city-level location. We do not see a name. Plausible processes that measurement in the European Union. Plausible does not sell the measurement and does not use it to advertise.
Our own servers still write ordinary logs — time, page requested, browser type, IP address — so we can find a broken page or an attack. Those logs are kept 90 days unless a security review is already open. They are not an advertising file.
If a member uses the Compliance Gateway, the file can include authorized-representative names, training dates and scores, certification and STA status, expiration dates, and the documents the member uploads so a TSA audit can be answered. That is sensitive. It is used only to provide the Gateway the member bought, to let that member share a record with a partner the member designates, and to keep the system running. It is not a marketing list. It is not published in the directory. Staff access is limited to people who support the Gateway.
We do not ask a website visitor for a Social Security number. We do not take biometrics for the public site. We do not scrape social media to build a file on a person. We do not buy consumer data to attach to a membership. We do not infer health, religion, or politics from a directory listing.
Outside ACI, information leaves only when the work cannot be done without it.
A valid United States court order, warrant, or lawful subpoena, or an inspection a regulator is entitled to make, is the other exception. We do not volunteer a member file to a stranger who merely asks. If we are allowed to tell you about a demand for your information, we will.
The Air Freight Directory — online and in print — exists to publish business contact information. A company that takes a listing is asking us to show that information to forwarders, airlines, and other subscribers. Correcting a listing is done through the contact form or by phone. If a person named on a listing wants the name taken off, we will take it off and leave the company information, unless the company and the person are the same and the whole listing is withdrawn.
Paid display advertising in the print book or on a page of the site is advertising of the advertiser's own service. It is not ACI selling a reader's personal file.
We may send operational mail about an account already opened: a renewal, an invoice, a listing proof, a password reset. Industry announcements and sales mail go only to people who have asked for them or who have an existing membership and have not said stop. Every such message has a way to quit. Reply STOP to a text. Use the unsubscribe link on an announcement. Or use the contact form.
The public pages do not need an advertising cookie, and we do not set one. Plausible does not set a cookie.
A session cookie may be set so a logged-in member stays logged in, and so a form does not die mid-entry. A small cookie may remember a banner choice if we display one. That is the intended set.
A Do Not Track signal is treated as a request not to track across sites. We do not run that kind of tracker. We do not override the signal.
Membership and listing files last as long as the relationship, and then for a short tail so a renewal and an invoice dispute can still be answered. Compliance files last as long as the member keeps the Gateway and for the period that member still needs the record for an audit, then they come off our system when the member closes the account or asks us to delete, except for pieces a legal hold or a statute still requires.
| Record | Kept for | Then |
|---|---|---|
| Plausible aggregate stats | As configured in our Plausible account, typically 12 or 24 months of totals | Aged out of the dashboard |
| Website server logs | 90 days | Deleted, unless a security review is already open |
| Session cookies | The session or the login period | Deleted automatically |
| Quote or ad inquiry with no order | 90 days after last contact | Deleted |
| Subscription, listing, and billing file | Life of the account plus 3 years | Deleted or stripped of personal names and numbers |
| Print-directory issue | The issue stays in circulation as a printed book. We do not recall bound copies. | Later issues replace the listing copy we control online |
| Load-board post | While the post is active, then 1 year | Deleted |
| API query logs | 90 days | Deleted |
| Compliance Gateway file | While the member keeps the product, then 1 year after closure unless the member asks us to delete sooner | Deleted |
| Card charge record (no full PAN) | 3 years, or longer if tax rules require the invoice | Deleted |
If you ask us to delete sooner, we will, except for pieces we still have a legal duty to keep, and except for a printed book already in a reader's hands. We will tell you what cannot come out yet.
Access inside ACI is by role. Compliance Gateway data is not sitting in the same inbox as a sales list. Passwords are stored hashed. Full card numbers are not stored on ACI systems. The public site is served over HTTPS. Access is shut off when a person leaves.
If we learn of a breach that is reasonably likely to harm you, we will notify you and any regulator the law requires.
You may ask us for a copy of what we hold on you, to fix a wrong field, to delete what we no longer have a legal reason to keep, to close an account, to take a personal name off a listing, or to stop industry announcements.
Use https://www.aircargocommunities.com/contact-us/ with "Privacy Request" on the first line, call 650-952-9050, or write the box in section 2. We may need to confirm it is you. An ordinary request is free. We aim to answer within 30 days, or sooner if a state law says so.
A California authorized agent needs proof of authority and enough information for us to verify the consumer.
California residents have the CCPA/CPRA rights to know, access, correct, delete, opt out of sale and sharing, and limit the use of sensitive information. ACI does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may still ask us to say that in writing. We will not charge a different price or refuse the service you paid for because you exercised a right.
Sensitive information we may hold is login credentials and, for Gateway users, compliance and training records. Those are used only to run the account and the Gateway.
A published directory listing of a business is not a "sale" of a consumer's personal information. Taking a name off a listing is still available under this section.
If you live in a state with a consumer privacy statute, you may request access, correction, deletion, and a portable copy to the extent that statute applies. Mark an appeal "Privacy Appeal" and send it the same way.
Canadian companies appear in the directory because they asked to be listed or because they subscribe. That listing is not a marketing profile of a private individual.
We do not advertise to the European public as such. Plausible already processes its measurement in the EU. If an EU or UK person appears as a named contact on a membership, we will honor an access, correction, deletion, or restriction request. We hold membership data to perform the subscription. We do not lean on "legitimate interests" to justify selling a list, because we do not sell the list.
The site and the memberships are for adults in the trade. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If a parent thinks we have a minor's information, contact us and we will delete it.
A link off our pages is not a joint venture. Square's card page is Square's. Plausible's policy is at plausible.io/data-policy. An airline or carrier site linked from a listing is that company's problem, not ours.
A routine clarification gets a new date at the top. A material change — selling data, adding an advertising tracker, keeping files longer, or adding a new class of recipient — will be posted at least 30 days before it takes effect. Sale or advertising use of personal information beyond this policy would also need an opt-in. That is not planned.
